Hello movie makers,
I will be in my office (Edu 533) between 10:00 AM and 12:15 PM next Monday April 6. Please come those hours if you want to pick up your DVD/CD. If you cannot make it, I will leave it outside of the door or arrange another time. If so, please email me.
Happy spring and summer for all of you!

Blogs reviewed
Hello guys,
It has been very enjoyable to work with you guys this winter and I hope each of you has learned something useful in this class.
Your blogs were reviewed and left short comments. The grades will be reflected on the WebCT. Most of you were doing very well on this. Now, I look forward to seeing your ambitious videos next week. We will have some refreshments in class. Some suggested hot chocolate and chocolate donuts. If you have objections, please feel free to express by commenting on this entry.
I hope you finish your semester very well. See you soon!

World Premier Preview
Each group will have about 10 minutes to show off the video and lead class discussion. So, please prepare for that. As mentioned in the very beginning, I mark your video project based on the content. In other words, important are the subject matter itself and the way you present the subject coherently and convincingly.
Feel free to email if any problem comes up while you finish up your project. I will LOOK FORWARD TO THE WORLD PREMIER PREVIEW.

Course Evaluation
Hi Guys,
When you have a moment, please fill out the online course evaluation for the lab session. Although we will try to have a chance to discuss in class, the official evaluation will help me greatly, so please take a moment to answer the questions.
Thank you!

FInishing Your Video Project: DVD and Online video
Here is a step-by-step for exporting iMovie video to iDVD to create a DVD.
1. Select it in the Project Library, and then choose Share > Media Browser.
2. Select the size that best matches what you’ll be using the video for. For iDVD, the Large size is best.
3. Click Share.
4. Wait. Rendering can take up to several minutes depending on the size of your movie.
5. Open iDVD or your other application and then look for the rendered movies in the Movies.
Here is a reference page for iDVD:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/10120.html
Preparing your movie for YouTube:
1. Select it in the Project Library, and then choose Share > Media Browser.
2. Select Mobile for proper compression of your video.
Uploading your video to YouTube is optional. However, you need to practice this process to understand the concept of "compression" of video. Search for more information of compression on the web and we will discuss in class.
